Laboratory Technician (Entry-Level) – Temporary Assignment

Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Weeks (Short-Term Contract)

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to support laboratory operations in a short-term assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in a lab environment— no prior experience or degree required.

Selected candidates will assist with basic lab functions, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and support for ongoing testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and organize laboratory glassware and equipment
• Prepare samples by weighing and mixing materials according to instructions
• Assist with basic lab testing procedures (as trained)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
• Support lab staff with general tasks as needed

Qualifications

• No prior laboratory experience or college degree required
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a structured environment
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to work onsite in Columbia, SC
