"Lab Technician Contractor/PT

M3971 20-21.00 an hour + 5 pto days
Seeking a Part-Time Lab Contractor to provide essential support to our Research & Development (R&D) team. This role will focus on assisting with various lab tasks, including sample management, shipping, safety compliance, and general lab upkeep. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Provide support for R&D, Marketing, and Sales requests.
* Assist with domestic shipments, including packing and generating UPS waybills.
* Receive incoming shipments, unpack shippers, and notify developers.
* Support other R&D tasks as requested, such as setting up and cleaning up product reviews, benchtop prototyping, and sample analysis.
* Manage lab and sample inventory.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Previous experience in a lab environment is preferred.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
* Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., email, data entry).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
