Title: Lab Technician

Duties:
- Sets up and performs tests requested by product engineers.
- Assist with assembly of prototype units
- Organizes and maintains a safe, clean, productive lab space.
- Performs product tear downs and technical analysis down to the PCB level.
- Reports findings in an organized manner.
Skills:
- Basic working knowledge in power/electrical engineering; AC and DC power <20kVA circuits, microprocessor and sensor interfacing, firmware interfacing, DC batteries, connectors/wire harnesses.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and identification of components.
- Strong engineering troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and methodically.
- Ability to operate in an electrical testing lab environment safely and successfully.
- Very strong planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional global development teams.
Education
- Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years test engineering experience with electrical-based products OR Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 2-3 years test engineering experience with electrical-based products.
