Job OverviewResponsible for supporting the manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products including lab maintenance, file maintenance, and support in creating materials for batches to meet specifications.ResponsibilitiesCleans lab supplies and glasswareMaintains consumables inventory; orders necessary suppliesCleans laboratory equipment/lab spaces; removes/disposes of expired materialOperates glass washers, dryers, and autoclavesPrints laboratory documentsAssists with the removal and disposal of Trash/Biohazard wasteCreates solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specificationsDemonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Must follow all client housekeeping policies and proceduresMust follow all client safety policies and proceduresMust be able to work overtime as required to meet client business requirementsPerform other duties as requiredQualificationsMinimum Education/Experience:High school degree with technical certification in the area of laboratory operations or 1 year laboratory experiencePreferred: AS degree in a scientific discipline with 1 year laboratory experience, or BS degree in a scientific disciplineBasic Skills:Ability to demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skillsMust be detail-orientedStrong time management skills requiredProficient/Working Skills:Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams, and perform basic arithmeticProficiency in MS Excel is required; MS Office; Internet ExplorerJob DetailsLevel Of Experience: Entry LevelEmployment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders)Work hours: M - F 7am - 3pmPosition: Lab TechnicianLocation: Sparks, MDDuration: 12 MonthsTotal Hours/week: 40.00Shift: 1st ShiftClient: Medical Device CompanyJob Category: Healthcare#J-18808-Ljbffr
