Job Description
The Lab Technician II performs routine analytical laboratory testing on hydrocarbon- and water-based samples to support research, development, quality objectives, and sales activities. This role operates, calibrates, maintains, and troubleshoots analytical instruments to ensure accurate and reliable data. The Lab Technician II executes analytical methods in accordance with approved procedures and safety guidelines while maintaining clear documentation and effective communication with scientists, engineers, and sales teams.

This role operates in a laboratory setting focused on analytical testing of hydrocarbon- and water-based samples. The Lab Technician II works with a variety of analytical instruments and equipment, following ASTM standards and using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and MS Office for data management and reporting. The environment emphasizes strict adherence to safety, quality, and housekeeping practices, with an organized and compliant workspace. The position involves close collaboration with scientists, engineers, and sales teams, and requires consistent attention to detail, careful handling of samples, and accurate documentation of all laboratory activities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
