Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry.

Base Hourly Rate: 21.00 - 21.63 DOE
3rd Shift Differential 14%

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll get to
Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be detail oriented and possess strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
Must be able to maintain donor, patient and employee confidentiality.

Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime when necessary.
