Lab Technician I

Start - Needed ASAP - 6 months
Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4:30 - No OT and No Weekends
Must be onsite - work environment -  Biological and biochemical professional lab

Job Description
Conduct in vitro and ex vivo microbiological tests on raw ingredients and consumer products.
Maintain bacterial cultures and perform bacterial assays.
Run biological assays including cell viability, bacterial plating, genomics, et al.   
Analyze lab data, perform simple stat analysis and draft reports to summarize in vitro tests.

Skills/Experience:
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field (recent graduates within the past 3-5 years preferred; Chemistry degree strongly preferred)
Previous laboratory experience preferred
Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments required
Ability to quickly learn new procedures
Strong adherence to SOPs with an emphasis on reliable and accurate data collection
Excellent documentation skills for consistent and precise data recording
Capable of performing routine tasks daily in a professional lab setting

Required Skills:
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor Degree in Biology, Biochemistry and related majors.
Skills in microbial culture (liquid and plating), microscope use, making culture medium, basic sterile technique.
Computer skills in using Google spreadsheet/doc/slides, data analysis
Ability to interact with multifunctional technical/non-technical personnel and be an effective participant in a team environment
Exhibit good presentation, communication and project management skills, potentially managing multiple projects with different timelines and goals

Desired Skills:
Lab experience at one year and above experience.
