Job Description
Position: Product Development Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Duration: 3-4 months Contract (Potential to extension)
Job Responsibilities- Perform technical procedures in a research laboratory under minimal supervision using standard scientific techniques and analytical principles.
- Collaborate with senior laboratory personnel to determine appropriate research procedures and techniques and recommend modifications when needed.
- Perform specialized laboratory tests and procedures using complex laboratory equipment.
- Support Hydration product development for North America, including beverage and syrup preparation, sampling, analysis, and lab-scale trials.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and evaluate samples according to established procedures and project requirements.
- Coordinate the shipment of samples, materials, and experimental products as required.
- Procure, order, and maintain supplies, ingredients, chemicals, and experimental materials needed for laboratory research.
- Conduct literature reviews and research scientific publications to obtain relevant abstracts, technical information, and supporting data.
- Perform statistical calculations and analyze experimental data to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Prepare technical reports and summaries documenting experimental procedures, results, and findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development projects and research activities.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and experimental data.
- Apply knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, materials, and substances to support research and product development activities.
Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Food Science, or another related scientific discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of advanced laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, materials, and substances.
- Skilled in operating and working with complex laboratory equipment.
- Ability to conduct laboratory testing, sampling, and analysis accurately and efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform statistical calculations and analyze experimental data.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate technical reports and research summaries.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage laboratory supplies, materials, samples, and shipments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with senior scientists and cross-functional teams.
