The Science Team at Pride Health is hiring a "Laboratory Technician III – Surface Treatment" for a top materials science company.Key Responsibilities- Operate, maintain, and monitor aluminum etch and anodize process lines.
- Prepare and handle chemical solutions while following safety and environmental procedures.
- Monitor process parameters (e.g., concentration, pH, temperature, immersion time) to ensure quality.
- Inspect treated and primed surfaces for quality, adhesion, coating thickness, and specification compliance.
- Set up and operate primer spray booth equipment and apply coatings per procedures.
- Maintain spray booth conditions and perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
- Accurately document process parameters, observations, and test results.
Basic Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
- Ability to pass a half-face or PAPR respirator fit test.
Preferred Qualifications- 3+ years of laboratory, manufacturing, or surface treatment experience.
- Experience with aluminum etch and anodize process lines.
- Experience operating primer spray booth equipment and applying liquid coatings.
- Knowledge of chemical handling, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Familiarity with surface preparation, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and coating standards.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.

- Duration: 12 months
- Pay range: $25-$28/hr. on W2
