Job Summary

We are looking for a Lab Technician to support daily laboratory operations in a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates, candidates with technical training, or individuals with 1-2 years of laboratory or manufacturing experience who are eager to grow their skills in a hands-on technical role.

The Lab Technician will work with specialized equipment to process and analyze environmental air samples, maintain laboratory systems, and ensure accurate testing results. We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment to process and analyze samples
• Follow established procedures and work instructions to ensure accurate results
• Record, analyze, and report testing data
• Perform routine equipment checks, calibrations, and basic maintenance
• Assist with troubleshooting laboratory instruments and systems
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Monitor laboratory inventory and help coordinate supply replenishment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety, environmental, and security requirements
• Work closely with team members to support daily laboratory operations

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written procedures and technical instructions
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• Associate degree, technical certification, or college coursework in a science-related field
• Experience using laboratory or analytical equipment is a plus
• Experience working in a regulated or quality-focused environment is preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
