We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assembly Line Worker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the precise assembly of mechanical parts that are integral to our camera systems and camera brackets. This role requires excellent manual dexterity, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies for cameras and camera mounting brackets according to mechanical drawings and work instructions.
● Operate small hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively to perform assembly tasks.
● Perform quality checks on assembled parts to ensure they meet specified standards and tolerances.
● Identify and report defects, issues, or equipment malfunctions to the shift supervisor or quality control team.
● Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all safety regulations and production procedures.
● Assist in setting up and calibrating assembly equipment as needed.
● Monitor inventory levels of assigned components and notify appropriate personnel when supplies are low.
● Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Prior experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a similar production environment is preferred.
● Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small, precise mechanical parts.
● Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as work instructions and drawings and diagrams.
● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
● Good physical stamina; ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
● Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
● This position is based at our headquarters facility located in San Francisco.
● The work environment is in the office production floor with moderate noise levels.
● Ability to lift and move up to [Weight] pounds frequently.
