Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Lab Tech - II (Associate) to join our pharmaceutical client in Millsboro, DE. This is a 12-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.
Pay:$24.00 - $26.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Description Responsibilities:
Maintains reagents, supplies, and calibrated equipment
Prepare reagents and materials
Reviews data
Calculating results
Maintains the cleanliness of the lab
Communicates schedule, tests status, and concerns clearly and accurately
Write Laboratory Investigations, as needed.
Revise Pre-existing Standard Methods and SOPs
Trains others on methods & procedures
Skills:
Good Documentation Practices
Pipetting
Weighing
Troubleshoot / Problem solving beyond method defined action
Good Communication
Familiar with good laboratory techniques
Familiar with the use of autoclaves
Qualifications:
Environmental Working Conditions
Indoor/Outdoor work which includes varying temperatures, entering coolers and freezers
Majority of time is spent standing, walking, pushing, pulling and lifting
Required to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required per Safety Policy | Examples of required PPE are: safety glasses, safety shoes, LN gear, face shield, apron, gloves
Education:
Required | High School Diploma or equivalent with three years laboratory experience
Preferred | Bachelor's degree in science discipline
