The Science Team at Russell Tobin is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for "Lab Technician - Optics"
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare materials and set up for product testing
Conduct optical and mechanical tests on materials and products
Assist in experiments, data collection, and evaluation of new products
Perform hands-on testing using various lab equipment
Document results and communicate findings to stakeholders
Handle and organize testing materials, including lifting weights (2-20 lbs)
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma required
1+ year of lab technician or related experience
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Comfortable working with ladders or elevated surfaces
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science field preferred
Prior lab or manufacturing experience
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Additional Information
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 12 Months
Pay rate: $21-$23/hour
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
