Seeking a Lab Technician I or II to support organic chemistry synthesis at pilot and scale-up quantities for an advanced biomaterial and composite solutions provider in El Segundo, CA. This is a first-shift, contract-to-hire job opportunity with significant growth potential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support organic chemistry synthesis at pilot scale / scale-up
Set up, operate, and break down chemical synthesis equipment
Work in and around fume hoods, following chemical safety procedures
Clean and prepare chemistry glassware between uses
Maintain accurate lab records and keep the workspace organized
QUALIFICATIONS
Hands-on experience with organic chemistry synthesis at pilot scale or scale-up (beyond small bench-scale work)
Experience working in and around fume hoods and following chemical safety procedures
Experience cleaning chemistry glassware and setting up/breaking down synthesis equipment
