About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Lab Technicians for a leading food production company in Park Rapids, MN. In this role, you'll help ensure product quality by collecting samples, performing inspections, and documenting results throughout the production process. What You'll Do as a Lab Technician:- Collect product samples from various production lines and assess quality
- Identify and document out-of-grade product situations
- Enter quality assurance data into the QA Entry program
- Distinguish between critical, major, and minor product defects
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety procedures
- Complete required performance evaluations and quality checks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What You Need to Bring to the Lab Technician Role:- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety rules, procedures, and work instructions
- Basic computer skills and accurate data entry abilities
- Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, percentages, and ratios
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout a shift
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing conditions
- Reliable transportation to the Park Rapids area
