Growing nutraceutical company in Phoenix seeks a Microbiology Technician to work Monday-Friday during daytime hours. The role involves preparing and analyzing microbiological samples using petri films and traditional plates, making media, autoclaving, and supporting lab documentation. Additional tasks include receiving samples, maintaining safety protocols, and assisting with chemistry lab activities like pH testing and solution preparation.
Requirements include a HS Diploma/GED (BS preferred), 0-3 years industry experience, basic microbiological skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and effective communication are essential. Basic math skills and knowledge of GMPs and lab safety are a plus.
