Lab Technician

Summary:

• Location: River Falls, WI
• Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of test product batches at lab scale.
• Conduct stability and performance testing using standard chemistry lab equipment.
• Follow generally prescribed procedures and use proper laboratory techniques.
• Maintain equipment and keep records of tests associated with batches or units.
• Perform general laboratory cleaning duties, including washing equipment.

Requirements:

• Chemistry degree or equivalent.
• Minimum experience in a chemical laboratory environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience operating in a chemistry laboratory.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and a methodical approach to work assignments.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and group situations.
• Ability to understand, record, and verbalize detailed information accurately.
• Knowledge and compliance with all safety guidelines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with emulsions is a bonus.
