Lab Technician

Job Title: Lab Technician - Adhesive Formulation
Location: Rocky Hill, CT
Type: 12 month contract
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 40

Overview:
Prepares and tests adhesive formulations, performs laboratory testing, documents results, maintains laboratory equipment, and supports product development while following established laboratory and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and test adhesive formulations following established guidelines.
• Document laboratory test data and observations in laboratory information systems.
• Operate curing, dispensing, and laboratory testing equipment.
• Maintain calibration of laboratory instruments and a clean, organized laboratory environment.
• Prepare internal and external test reports and perform additional laboratory duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related science field.
• Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical, and mechanical data.
• Experience collaborating on product development programs.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Experience using laboratory computer systems, curing and dispensing equipment, and laboratory safety practices, including PPE and 5S.
