    Description

    Summary of the Position:

    The Label Cage Specialist is responsible for the issuance and reconciliation of all printed materials required for use in Packaging operations and is responsible for ensuring that 100% reconciliation of all printed materials is maintained in order to adhere to references in 21 CFR Part 111.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Accurately updating the Label Inventory databases, filing system, and other applicable documentation related to the Label Storage Cage
    • Issuance of Labels and/or other printed materials to Operations based on current Production Schedules
    • Strong communication between Supply Chain/Planning
    • Organizing the Label Storage Cage with printed materials and provide requested approved printed label material in a timely manner
    • Ensuring the Label Storage Cage is operated within the cGMP guidelines and SOPs
    • Organizing work to achieve daily goals with no errors or deficiencies. Identifying and reporting all discrepancies
    • Ensuring that all equipment is operated in a safe and proper manner
    • Training new employees on the operation of equipment, safety of equipment SOPs and GMPs on an as needed basis
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with other departments and function within a team environment.
    • Performing other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives
    • Regular attendance is required

    Minimum Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or higher education
    • Strong Mathematical skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience related to food or pharmaceutical industry
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite

    Physical Requirements

    • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs. Requires general bending, kneeling and climbing and be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Must wear OSHA and Nutramax required Proper Protection Equipment (PPE) for each task daily, as applicable.
