Label Printing Press Assistant — Flexo Production

Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

What you’ll do

• Mount printing plates; pull, organize, and file plate files without errors.
• Mix inks to match job specifications and color requirements.
• Pull dies ahead of runs; return them to storage when jobs are complete.
• Wash ink trays, splashguards, and overflow pans; maintain clean, orderly press areas.
• Keep consumables stocked; assist with monthly inventory counts.
• Support press operations, sheeted jobs, major cleanups, and setups; move product to finishing as needed.
• Record daily time spent on each task.
• Use the anilox cleaning machine to clean anilox rolls.
• Follow SOPs/GMPs, safety rules, and company policies; back up press operators; work overtime when required; perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Math fluency: Measuring, fractions, and numerical filing.
• Tech exposure: Inventory/manufacturing software knowledge preferred.
• Physical ability: Stand for long periods; lift/move up to 75 lbs; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; strong close/distance vision, depth and color perception, and focus adjustment.
• Environment: Work around moving mechanical parts; moderate noise.
• Mindset: Team-first, dependable, detail-focused, instruction-following multitasker with a positive attitude.
