Label Production Supervisor - Stafford, TXResponsibilities Maintain and manage the production schedule, ensuring efficient workflow while accounting for material availability, incoming deliveries, machine capacity, and customer deadlines.
Lead and supervise the production team by providing performance feedback, and day-to-day direction to ensure production goals, quality requirements, and delivery deadlines are consistently met.
Coordinate and purchase all production-related materials, including label stock, dies, blades, and other manufacturing supplies.
Create and maintain part numbers, product records, and bills of materials (BOMs) within the Fishbowl inventory management system.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy on a monthly basis.
Analyze material usage and forecast purchasing requirements to prevent shortages and minimize excess inventory.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing, reliable lead times, and consistent quality.
Prepare and manage quotations for new label opportunities, ensuring accurate costing and pricing.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to evaluate project requirements.
