The Clinical Nurse is a professional nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process. This role ensures coordination of services provided by the healthcare team and upholds hospital policies and procedures. The Clinical Nurse may serve as a charge nurse, supervising nursing care and addressing service issues to maintain high standards of patient care.


Key Responsibilities:


+ Provide total patient care using the nursing process, ensuring individualized care for all assigned patients.

+ Coordinate and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver seamless care within hospital policies.

+ Act as a charge nurse, supervising and directing nursing care in the absence of or in conjunction with the Nurse Manager.

+ Identify and address nursing service issues while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

+ Demonstrate behavior aligned with the Mission and Core Values of Community Hospital of San Bernardino.

+ Actively participate in the hospital’s strategic plan and quality improvement initiatives.


This position requires clinical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to excellence in patient care. The Clinical Nurse plays a key role in supporting the Mission and strategic objectives of Community Hospital of San Bernardino.

Qualifications


+ 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience in an acute care hospital is required.

+ California Registered Nurse (RN) License

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.

+ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
