What Youll Do- Provide expert nursing care to women in labor, delivery, and postpartum units
- Assist with C-Section procedures and initial newborn care
- Monitor patient vital signs and progress, ensuring safety and comfort
- Collaborate with obstetric teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Operate specialized equipment, including birthing tubs
- Respond to emergency situations, including possible emergency team assignments
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
What You Need- Valid Louisiana RN license or appropriate state licensure
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, FHM, NRP (required)
- Key skills: neonatal care, patient advocacy, emergency response
- Preferred: AWHONN Advanced Certification
