What Youll Do:
Provide exceptional labor and delivery nursing care to patients in a fast-paced setting
Monitor fetal well-being and mothers vital signs during labor
Administer medications and interventions as prescribed
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
Document patient care accurately in EPIC electronic health record system
Support families through labor, delivery, and postpartum phases
Respond to emergencies swiftly and effectively, maintaining a ratio of 1:2
What You Need:
Active RN license in Louisiana or the ability to obtain one
Minimum of 4 years labor and delivery experience, with charge experience preferred
Strong clinical skills and ability to handle a busy labor unit
Experience with EPIC EMR system
