What Youll Do
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to women in labor and postpartum
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage patient assessments, monitoring, and documentation
- Administer medications and interventions as directed by protocols
- Support and educate patients and families throughout their stay
- Follow hospital and departmental policies, ensuring safety and compliance
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and communication
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Louisiana RN license
- Minimum 4 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and under pressure
Preferred:
- Charge experience in Labor & Delivery
- EPIC EHR proficiency
