• Employment Type: Contract/Per Diem
• Licenses/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, & FHM
• Experience: 2+ years of high-risk OB unit experience, Epic experience, teaching hospital background, handling 200-300 births per month

• Hourly Pay Rate: $63.65

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk obstetrics environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Assist in emergency situations and oversee patient safety
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-delivery care
• Document care process accurately in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
• Support float requirements across Mother/Baby units as needed
• Participate in holiday, weekend, and call coverage as scheduled

What You Need:
Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible to obtain
• 2+ years of experience in high-risk OB nursing
• Epic EMR experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:

• Experience in a teaching hospital setting
• Handling 200–300 births per month
