You will work closely with experienced shareholders who are committed to mentoring associates, providing substantive feedback, and helping them develop a well-rounded practice.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONSConduct legal research and draft memoranda, employment-related contracts, responsive pleadings, motions, and briefs.Advise clients on state and federal labor and employment laws, including fair employment, wage and hour, labor relations, and leave laws.Represent clients before state and federal administrative agencies and courts, including arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with case strategy, trial preparation, and other litigation matters.Stay current on legal developments affecting labor, employment, and litigation, and provide creative, practical legal solutions that help clients achieve their objectives in complex, high-stakes matters.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS4+ years of experience in labor & employment law, with meaningful experience handling employment-related litigationExcellent research, writing and drafting skillsProven ability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines and demands both internally and externallySuperior organizational and time management skillsAbility to work full-time, including variable hours that flex with client needsExcellent communication skills (both oral and written)Interest in a collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment with a strong desire to contribute to team and client successJ.D. from ABA accredited law schoolAdmitted or eligible for admission to practice in Wisconsin.We offer an excellent benefits package, competitive compensation commensurate with experience, and reasonable billable hour expectations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
