    Job Overview A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Associate with at least five years of experience to join their Seattle, WA office. This senior‑level position involves significant client interaction and collaboration with colleagues across various locations, including California. The role requires providing pragmatic legal advice and managing complex employment law matters.Responsibilities Provide complex employment law advice and counsel.Draft employment agreements and offer letters.Review and draft employee handbooks.Advise on employee performance management and terminations.Manage ADA accommodation and leave questions.Handle single‑plaintiff cases and wage and hour class actions.Collaborate on case strategy and tactics.Conduct substantial brief writing and witness interviews.Draft and respond to discovery requests.Take and defend depositions.Maintain workload and manage case dockets.Requirements Licensed to practice in Washington, including Federal courts.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong client service and teamwork abilities.Commitment to diversity and personal practice development.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications Active bar membership in Washington State.Skills Ability to think creatively and improve processes.Proactive and highly responsive.Effective communication with all levels of personnel.Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement savings plan.Life and disability insurance.Flexible time off and paid parental leave.Adoption assistance and education programs.Wellbeing programs and transportation benefits.Employee assistance program with counseling services.#J-18808-Ljbffr
