We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join our growing practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated employment law matters, values direct client interaction, and wants to build a long-term career with a collaborative and respected firm.


Our attorneys work closely with employers across a broad range of workplace issues, providing strategic counsel and effective representation in complex employment disputes.


Responsibilities

  • Represent employers in all aspects of labor and employment litigation in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies.
  • Defend claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour matters, wrongful termination, and other employment-related issues.
  • Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, conduct depositions, attend mediations, and prepare cases for trial.
  • Advise clients on day-to-day employment law issues, including personnel policies, employee discipline, workplace investigations, and compliance.
  • Draft and review employment agreements, employee handbooks, and workplace policies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while collaborating with attorneys across the firm.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active license and good standing with the OH state bar.
  • 3+ years of labor and employment law experience, including employment litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Experience handling matters independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Trial, arbitration, or administrative hearing experience is a plus.
