Labor Compliance Expert/Certified Payroll
Location: Pomona, CA (On-Site)
Pay: $30-$38/hr

You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across our payroll operations, especially for prevailing wage and project-based work.
What You'll Do
- Lead certified payroll processing for prevailing wage projects
- Set up and manage payroll for prevailing wage jobs
- Troubleshoot and resolve certified payroll reporting issues
- Create and maintain reporting in DIR (Department of Industrial Relations)
- Ensure compliance with state labor laws and project labor requirements
- Assist with DIR classifications for new projects
- Support setup and management in platforms like DIR, LCPtracker, and LAUSD
- Help streamline payroll processes across both prevailing wage and standard payroll
What You Bring
- Proven experience with DIR Certified Payroll Reporting (required)
- Strong background in prevailing wage & labor compliance
- Hands-on experience with:
- Certified payroll audits
- Error correction and compliance fixes
- System setup (DIR, LCPtracker, LAUSD)
- Familiarity with Project Labor Agreements (PLAs)
- Experience working with LAUSD (highly preferred)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
