Labor Coordinator-Nashville

Title: Labor Coordinator

Salary Range: $32-$36 per hour

The purpose of this position is to help coordinate logistics and all aspects of labor scheduling.

Job Duties:

Interfaces with project and account executives on crew to ensure events are staffed with the correct caliber of individual. Contacts freelancers, temporary employees and CT Technicians to schedule labor by utilizing R2. Contacts unions when necessary. Agrees rates with crew. Maintains extensive and detailed crewing calendar live with up-to-the-minute changes. Distributes departmental crewing calendar in a consistent and timely manner. Establishes and maintains relationships with freelance and vendor contacts. Obtains credentials, drive-on/parking, dress code info and any show related specifics, including call times, from all PMs and distributes accordingly. Generates detailed show sheets/call sheets/contact lists for each project under direction of project/sales management. Is available after hours/weekends to coordinate changes and emergencies with regard to crew. Determines whether potential crew should be set up as temporary employees or independent contractors dependent upon the position being filled and required documentation in place to be IC. Ensures that all invoices and timesheets are received in a timely manner. Audits invoices and timesheets to ensure accuracy. Generates Purchase Orders when necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

Associates degree or higher - a combination of education and experience will be considered. 3-5 years of experience covering extremely deadline driven office setting: production in film/tv a plus. Ability to meet tight deadlines and organize multiple changing priorities at a fast-paced environment. Availability for night/weekend contact over peak times Demonstrated skills in communication and an ability to interact with a wide range of individuals and personalities. In-depth knowledge and operation of computers (mac and PC) and software packages. Knowledge or familiarity with broadcast/live events gear, personnel and culture a plus. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with an established list of industry contacts / their own database of skilled workers in Video/Audio/Events.
