Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Pay: $58.00 per hour
Schedule: Day Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week

Aura Staffing Partners is seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated healthcare team. This position offers a consistent day shift schedule with competitive pay while providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as ordered.
• Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous Labor & Delivery nursing experience required - 2yrs
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification preferred or required based on facility
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment
