Registered Nurse Position Details
Facility: BayCare Health System Labor & Delivery Unit - SJWH Location: St. Josephs Womens Hospital Status: Part Time (32 hours per pay period) Exempt: No Shift Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Weekend Work: Every Other On Call: No
The Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. • Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. • The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development. • Collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient family and significant others. Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
Required Certification Licensures: • Registered Nurse license • BLS Basic Life Support • NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Required Education Associates degree in Nursing Bachelors degree in Nursing - Preferred
Required Experience Registered Nurse license At least 1 year of RN Labor & Delivery experience
