Registered Nurse-Labor & Delivery (RN) | Tulsa, OK

Position Summary

The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate, patient-centered care to women during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for both mother and newborn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, monitor, and care for laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and patient education according to physician orders and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, neonatal teams, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with nursing standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional education.

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Oklahoma RN License or compact multistate RN license.
  • 0–6 months of RN experience (new graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Strong assessment, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to provide compassionate care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.
