Labor & Employee Relations professional

A healthcare organization in the Bronx, NY area is seeking a Labor & Employee Relations professional to join their growing team. In this role, the qualified professional will support labor relations, workplace investigations, grievance administration, and employment law compliance in a unionized environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team handling a range of employee and labor relations matters.

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8am to 4pm or9am to 5pm
• Setting: Onsite

• Conduct employee relations and workplace investigations
• Support grievance handling and labor relations processes
• Partner with managers on performance management and corrective action matters
• Prepare investigation summaries and supporting documentation
• Assist with collective bargaining agreement interpretation and administration

• 3+ years of experience in Employee Relations and/or Labor Relations
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience working in Unionized environments
• Hands-on experience with Grievances, Workplace Investigations, Disciplinary Actions, and Labor Law
• Strong knowledge of Employment Law and Employee Relations best practices
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

• Working knowledge of ADP
• Experience in a healthcare or Hospital setting
• Experience within a nonprofit organization
