Compensation

$260,000 – $390,000+

A premier global law firm is seeking a Senior Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising employers on sophisticated employment litigation, workplace counseling, executive employment matters, restrictive covenants, and labor issues.

Ideal Background

5+ years of labor & employment experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing employers in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, restrictive covenant, and executive employment disputes

• Experience advising employers regarding employment law compliance, workplace investigations, employee discipline, reductions in force, executive separations, and day-to-day counseling

• Experience handling matters arising under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, the FLSA, ERISA, and comparable state employment laws

• Experience drafting and negotiating employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, separation agreements, and executive compensation arrangements is preferred

• Experience supporting the labor and employment aspects of mergers & acquisitions, corporate transactions, and workforce restructurings is a plus

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admitted
