Compensation

$235,000 – $345,000+

A premier national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Jacksonville office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing employers in sophisticated employment litigation, labor matters, workplace counseling, and internal investigations.

Ideal Background

3–6 years of labor & employment experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing employers in employment litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, restrictive covenant, and ERISA claims

• Experience handling matters arising under Title VII, the ADA, the FMLA, the ADEA, the FLSA, ERISA, and comparable state employment laws

• Experience managing all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation

• Experience advising employers regarding employment law compliance, workplace investigations, employee relations, and risk management

• Experience representing employers in traditional labor matters, union-related issues, or labor arbitrations is a plus

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated employment matters while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Florida bar admission required or ability to become admitted
