Compensation

$235,000 – $390,000+

A premier national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Philadelphia office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing employers in sophisticated employment litigation, workplace counseling, labor matters, and employment-related transactions.

Ideal Background

3+ years of labor & employment experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing employers in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, restrictive covenant, and leave-related matters

• Experience advising employers regarding employment law compliance, workplace investigations, employee discipline, terminations, reductions in force, and day-to-day counseling

• Experience handling matters arising under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, the FLSA, ERISA, and comparable state employment laws

• Experience supporting the employment aspects of mergers & acquisitions, corporate transactions, executive employment agreements, and restrictive covenant matters is preferred

• Experience representing employers before federal and state agencies, including the EEOC and state labor agencies, is a plus

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated employment matters while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Pennsylvania bar admission required or ability to become admitted
