A highly respected regional law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Tampa office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including employment litigation, workplace counseling, compliance issues, and workforce management.
• 4+ years of labor and employment experience
• Experience handling employment litigation matters in state and federal courts
• Experience with discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour, leave and accommodation, and wrongful termination claims preferred
• Experience advising employers on workplace policies, employee relations, investigations, and compliance matters
• Ability to independently manage matters while working collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and case management abilities
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Active Florida bar admission required
