Labor & Employment Attorney

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious law firm to find a talented Labor & Employment Attorney to join their expanding Labor & Employment Practice Group in Orange County or Los Angeles, CA. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney eager to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Position Overview

The firm seeks a Junior to Mid-Level Labor & Employment Associate with 2-5 years of employment litigation experience, including exposure to wage and hour class actions and PAGA litigation. The ideal candidate will manage litigation responsibilities effectively while collaborating with partners and clients on complex employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, court appearances, and settlement negotiations.
• Assist with wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions.
• Manage case strategy, deadlines, and client communications.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex employment matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California Bar and in good standing.
• 2-5 years of employment litigation experience.
• Experience handling wage and hour and PAGA matters is required.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational and case management abilities.
• Experience providing day-to-day employment advice and counsel is preferred, but not required.

Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Compensation

Compensation is expected to range from $160,000 to $230,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
