Orlando, FL | Contract Opportunity
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney for a contract opportunity in the Orlando area.
The ideal candidate will have experience advising employers on a variety of labor and employment matters, including workplace compliance, employee relations, litigation, and risk management.
Responsibilities
Advise clients on federal, state, and local employment laws
Counsel employers on employee relations, workplace investigations, and policy development
Draft and review employment agreements, separation agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies
Support matters involving discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, leave and accommodation issues
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, and other legal documents
Assist with administrative proceedings, demand letters, and employment litigation
Partner with HR and business leaders to identify and mitigate employment-related risks
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active Florida Bar license in good standing
3+ years of Labor & Employment law experience
Experience advising employers on employment law and compliance matters
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
Prior employment law counseling or litigation experience preferred

Pay Details: $80.00 to $100.00 per hour
