Opportunity available in our downtown Riverside office for a Labor & Employment Legal Assistant with 3+ years Labor & Employment law experience. Excellent location in historic downtown Riverside with competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with their daily business activities
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
Record and store client information
Prepare and format legal documents
Maintain client files within the firm's document management system
Manage attorney calendars, including deadlines, and meetings
Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements
Assist with time entry, billing support, and expense reimbursements
Review vendor invoices and submit for payment
Provide backup and overflow support to attorneys and staff as needed
Qualifications:
Must be an experienced Labor & Employment Legal Assistant with 3+ years of experience
Must have a stable background, preferably with small to mid-size law firms
Familiarity with document management
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess strong attention to detail and deadlines and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and document management systems strongly preferred.
Only candidates with a minimum of 3 years of recent law firm experience will be considered.
Competitive salary commensurate with experience along with performance bonuses (Pay Range: $24–$40 per hour). Great benefit package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance, paid parking and a great working environment.
