A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Senior Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising employers on sophisticated labor and employment matters, including employment litigation, workplace counseling, compliance issues, workforce management, and strategic employment matters.
• 6+ years of labor and employment experience
• Experience with employment litigation, workplace investigations, and employment counseling
• Experience handling discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, leave and accommodation, restrictive covenant, and wrongful termination matters
• Experience advising employers on policies, handbooks, employee relations, performance management, and compliance issues
• Experience managing matters independently and serving as a primary client contact preferred
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
