    Job Summary

    The Labor Foreman is responsible for leading construction crews on heavy civil, highway, and bridge projects. The role oversees daily field operations, coordinates labor activities, ensures work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintains compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and lead construction labor crews on highway and bridge projects.
    • Coordinate daily field operations and assign work tasks.
    • Oversee earthwork, drainage, and concrete construction activities.
    • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
    • Monitor work quality and productivity.
    • Enforce OSHA and job-site safety regulations.
    • Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members.
    • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

    Required Qualifications

    • 7–10+ years of experience leading construction crews on highway and bridge projects.
    • Experience with earthwork, drainage, and concrete work.
    • Strong leadership and crew management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • OSHA certification and strong knowledge of construction safety practices.
    • Ability to enforce job-site safety standards and procedures.
