Labor Maintenance

Position Summary

Vista Metals, Inc. is looking to hire Labor Maintenance Technicians to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of both manufacturing and administrative areas. This role is located in Elizabeth Township and involves routine facility sanitation, heavy-duty machinery cleaning, and general industrial maintenance tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily Sanitation: Clean and sanitize manufacturing floors, common areas, and personnel spaces daily.
• Facilities Cleaning: Clean and disinfect locker rooms and restrooms regularly to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Inventory Upkeep: Monitor and restock restroom and breakroom supplies, including paper and soap products.
• Dust Collection Maintenance: Brush down and empty Torit dust collectors daily; perform filter changes based on shop requirements.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain the exterior building and property grounds to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Organization: Keep all maintenance work areas tidy, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Other Duties and Responsibilities (As Needed)

• Machinery Deep Cleaning: Tear down, clean, and reassemble company manufacturing machinery.
• Operational Support: Perform additional tasks, functions, and operations as directed by Company Management.

Minimum Qualifications/Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Certified Vista Safety Training
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable work ethic

Physical & Medical Requirements

• Must past a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
• Must pass standard Respirator Fit Testing and wear a respirator while cleaning shop areas.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a full shift.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to approximately 50lbs.).
• Ability to safely climb ladders and work at elevated heights.
