    Job Summary

    The position is responsible for supporting data analysis and reporting efforts, including monitoring labor resources, tracking workforce productivity, and assisting in the evaluation of operational processes to support system-wide labor management initiatives. This role will help analyze historical trends and key metrics to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and departmental performance. This role focuses on building foundational skills in labor analytics, productivity measurement, and data interpretation while contributing to informed decision-making and effective workforce management

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: Bachelor's degree in health care administration, finance, business or a related field required

    Licenses/Certifications: (None)

    Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

    • Two (2) years experience in healthcare analytics or business operations.

    • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook at the intermediate level.

    • Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas.

    • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects at one time.

    • Customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with executive leadership and staff from all departments within and outside the Company.

    • Analytical and interpretation skills including departmental, utilization, financial and operations data.

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Performs analysis and interpretation of data to demonstrate clinical and financial outcomes.

    • Assists in the development and implementation of labor management strategies.

    • Develops trend analysis reports that monitor key performance indicators and compares them to internal and external benchmarks. Incumbent uses this data to assist management in decision-making, planning and implementing performance improvement strategies.

    • Develop and support comprehensive system support for benchmarking and labor productivity initiatives.

    • Under general guidance, serves as a key resource for organizational labor standards, data integrity, and optimal use of productivity/benchmarking solutions.

    • Provide analytic support, training assistance, and educational assitance on labor management, ensuring high-quality customer service.

    • Analyze and evaluate system and facility labor management performance to enhance operations improvement and performance management.

    • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.

    • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as a resource to less experienced staff.
