Labor Relations plays an integral role in the negotiation, administration, and interpretation of the University's collective bargaining agreements. The position reports to the Director of Labor Relations who, in turn, reports to the Executive Director of Employee & Labor Relations. This role will support the Director of Labor Relations in negotiating, administering, and interpreting the University's collective bargaining agreements. Working with management, staff, and union representatives, the Manager of Labor Relations will play an important role in building and maintaining a positive working environment by providing timely counseling, advice, training, and guidance on labor related matters such as policy and procedure development, performance management, workforce support and engagement, contractual wage and hour matters, conflict resolution, mediations, arbitrations, and labor laws.
