Position Summary
The Labor Relations Officer 2 serves as a key resource in supporting the agency's labor relations functions. This position partners closely with leadership, supervisors, and labor representatives to ensure alignment with labor agreements, organizational policies, and state personnel practices. The role requires substantial independence, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex employee-relations matters.

Key Responsibilities
This is an hourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units, with a pay range of 12 on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule. This position is located at Northwest Ohio Behavioral Healthcare (NOBH), 930 South Detroit Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43614-2701. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (hours may vary).
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
Additional Salary / Appointment Information:
UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS: May require travel which may include overnight stay; may be exposed to persons who are irate or hostile; may work evenings, weekends &/or irregular hours.
24 mos. exp. in collective bargaining, which included labor relations & handling of grievances.
