Laboratory Accessioning Specialist (Night Shift | Temp‑to‑Hire)
Location: Fully onsite - Irvine, CA
Job Type: Temporary‑to‑Hire (with potential permanent conversion for top performers)
Target Start Date: Monday, May 4
Pay Rate: $20-$24/hour, depending on experience)
Available Shifts (Night Shift):
- 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM
- 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM
- Schedule: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday

What You'll Do
- Receive, accession, and verify incoming laboratory specimens with a high level of accuracy
- Ensure specimens are properly labeled, documented, and entered into lab information systems
- Prepare and route specimens to the correct testing departments
- Identify, investigate, and resolve specimen discrepancies or missing information
- Follow laboratory procedures, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements at all times
- Manage and prioritize workload to meet turnaround time expectations
- Communicate clearly with lab staff and supervisors regarding specimen issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a laboratory, specimen processing, or accessioning role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work overnight shifts consistently
