    Role Description The Laboratory Analyst I/II/III is a full-time, on-site role based in Addison, IL. This position is responsible for performing microbiological testing and analysis on samples from various industries using established methods and standard operating procedures. Daily tasks include preparing samples and media, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, recording and interpreting test results, and following strict quality control and safety protocols. The analyst will assist in calibrating instruments, troubleshooting routine issues, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory and company standards. Depending on level (I/II/III), the role may also involve method development support, training team members, and contributing to continuous process improvements.

    • Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret data, solve problems, and support accurate microbiological analysis.
    • \n
    • Candidates should possess hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and general laboratory skills, including sample preparation and aseptic techniques.
    • \n
    • Candidates should possess quality control knowledge, including adherence to SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and documentation standards.
    • \n
    • Candidates should possess the ability to perform calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.
    • \n
    • Relevant skills such as attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management in a high-throughput lab environment.
    • \n
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
    • \n
    • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field; higher levels (II/III) may require additional experience.
    • \n
    • Prior experience in microbiology or a regulated laboratory setting (e.g., FDA, EPA, or ISO environments) is highly beneficial.
